Biography
Hoang Phuong Nguyen, MPH, is a research designer and biostatistician at the Vinmec Institute of Stem Cell Research and Gene Technology, College of Health Sciences, VinUniversity. She is currently a PhD candidate in Public Health at Hanoi Medical University, with research training focused on clinical research methodology, biostatistics, and patient centered outcomes.
She received her Master of Public Health from the University of Melbourne, Australia, in 2015. Since joining Vinmec in January 2016, she has contributed to multiple clinical research programs in translational and regenerative medicine, with expertise in study design, statistical analysis planning, clinical trial data management, and data analysis using R, STATA, and GraphPad Prism.
With over 10 years of experience in public health and clinical research, she has worked with Hanoi University of Public Health, Save the Children International, the National Hospital of Tropical Diseases, and Vinmec. Her research has been published in peer reviewed journals, including Stem Cell Translational Medicine, The Journal of Pediatrics, BMC Pediatrics, Health and Quality of Life Outcomes, Biopreservation and Biobanking, and Frontiers in Molecular Biosciences.
