Tran Thu Ha, PhD
Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Therapy
Medical Specialist
Biography
Dr. Tran Thu Ha received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Biotechnology and Drug Development from the University of Science and Technology of Hanoi (USTH) in 2016 and 2018, respectively. She earned her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University (NYCU) and Academia Sinica, Taiwan, in 2023. Prior to joining the Research Institute of Stem Cell and Gene Therapy Vinmec-VinUni, she was a Postdoctoral Researcher at Lund University, Sweden (2024–2026), where she led independent research projects on the crosstalk between metabolism and the immune system using CRISPR-Cas9 models. Her international research experience also includes a research internship at the Korea Polar Research Institute, South Korea in 2016. Her current research interests focus on precision medicine, oncology, metabolic disorders, drug mechanism, and translational medicine.
